Sun, 27 November 2005 Greetings gentle listeners...
This is the Flashing 12 Podcast Number 3!
Woooooooooooooooooooo!
Finally got to make the third one. Apoligies for the gap - I explain why in the 'cast...
We'll try not to leave it so long next time... Material building up again so that's a good sign!
Hopefully the sound quality is better on this edition. If anyone can offer any suggestions for improvement can you just mail me at flashing12 [at] gmail [dot] com.
In todays show we have the welcome return of Geek Girl UK - hurrah!; a segment on steam trains and a couple of rants...
Music by Elena Arian, Jimmie Bratcher, PW Fenton and Punam Verma... but probably not in that order...
Don't forget the really good stories come from you! I can keep talking about me and my stories for a while yet but I really need your help! Send me stuff!!!!
Follow up email to flashing12 [at] gmail [dot] com or post to the board. Anyone want a Frappr for this show yet? Let me know. There are a few hundred of you now....
Have a good time till next time! Comments[0] |
Sun, 6 November 2005 Gentle listeners... Janet, the GeekGirl, is lying in bed at the moment. She's not well poor thing. She lost her voice on Friday [note to self - tell story about conversation with VIsion Express next show] which was bade enough in that she couldn't boss anyone around but now all the energy has drained from her. Awww. So if anyone wants to send her a message that would be terribly well received!
You can email her direct at geekgirluk [at] googlemail [dot] com

Sun, 30 October 2005 Greetings! It's SHOWTIME!
Music by Don't Harrass Betty and Twelfth Night. Lots of stories from listeners. How to contact Geek Girl... Any questions, you know where to find me!
Cheers and thanks for subscribing! Comments[2] |
Sun, 30 October 2005 The show is in post production... naahh, thats cobblers. I've done the recording, and it needs to be fiddled with before it sounds less like a pile of something you would avoid in the street !
Anyways this is an audience participation show - so lots to look forward to but lots of reasons to have to fiddle with it...

Thu, 27 October 2005 Hi everyone.
I am working on a new show but it's taking a little longer than I anticipated. Sorry about that.
I have a lot of material and some great podsafe music. Hang loose for a couple of days. It'll be there soon. Promise!

Sat, 15 October 2005 Welcome! This is the first proper Podcast in the Flashing 12 Podcast series. This is the first one I felt I could actually puclish and tell people about. Feel free to check out the others but please bear in mind that they are test runs (=crap)!
Stories in this one are about the Ariane rocket blowing up a few years ago plus an internview with my own "Geek Girl", Janet. She's a near miss in the Flashing 12 stakes as this interview while we were on holiday shows!
Music from Jammin Inc and Natalie Brown via the Podsafe Music Network. Thanks to the BBC and Twelfth Night for the start music - Music section taken from "Sequences" from the album "Live and let live". Enjoy. Well, at least keep your dinner down. Comments[0] |
Sun, 25 September 2005 This is a much better effort. Better intro with less cr@p and the Amateur Transplants for the music... Much better... Comments[0] |
